Rainfall Monitoring

Precipitation data were collected at nine precipitation stations distributed in and near the watershed. Precipitation was recorded by TelogTexas Electronics tipping bucket rain gages. Standard rain gages were used as backups. Data from the loggers were periodically checked against the standard rain gages. The data available from these stations were used to calculate Theissen-weighted rainfall in hourly time steps for the study area.
