Nutrient Concentrations and Loadings

Water Quality data were collected at the five monitoring stations. ISCO automated samplers took water samples at designated stage intervals. The automated sampling allowed for in-stream water quality measurements during storm events.

The following constituents were analyzed in the samples:

Total Suspended Solids (TSS)
Ammonium (NH4)
Nitrate (NO3)
Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen (TKN)
Phosphate (PO4)
Total Phosphorus (TP)
Filtered Total Phosphorus (FTP)
Total Organic Carbon (TOC)

Water quality data are presented on this website in two forms: watershed loadings (measured in kilograms per hectare) and flow-weighted concentrations (measured in milligrams per liter).
